The Federation of Local Authorities in Israel has set a goal to promote the status of women at the local authorities and to strive for gender equality as it portrays in their representation in cities, councils, local committees and more.

As part of the efforts to promote women’s status, the Federation aspires to reduce the attacks and violence against women, and to narrow sectorial gaps through seminars, training, informational activities and assimilation of the subject in the local authorities.
