The division is in charge of providing international operative initiatives to the local authorities in Israel.

The division tracks and brings to the attention of the local authorities information regarding international competitions, initiatives for joint projects, professional conferences and exhibitions in municipal fields, and actively creates opportunities for urban economic development.

The division also hosts delegations from different countries, which arrive in Israel to learn about the activities conducted in our cities.

The division initiates and plans municipal delegations for professional visits in local authorities around the world, as a means to promote the local authorities in Israel. It also initiates international conferences in which relevant issues on the world municipal agenda are discussed.
