The Labor and Wage Agreements Division serves as the executive arm of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel on all employment-related matters. Acting as the official employer organization for local authorities, the division represents municipalities and councils in negotiations with labor unions, government ministries, and Knesset committees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating and implementing national and sector-specific labor and wage agreements
  • Representing local authorities in discussions on employment policies and regulations
  • Advising on labor relations, employment conditions, workers' rights, and management responsibilities
  • Providing training, courses, and professional seminars on workforce and HR issues
  • Supporting local authorities with tailored consultation services on all employment matters

Through its work, the division helps ensure fair, efficient, and legally sound labor practices across Israel's municipal workforce, while promoting stability and constructive dialogue between employers and employees.
