The Federation of Local Authorities in Israel is committed to supporting and advancing local authorities in the Arab sector through strategic collaboration, targeted initiatives, and dedicated representation.

As part of a national five-year plan, the Federation works closely with Arab municipalities to help close social and economic gaps, optimize access to government funding, and promote long-term development. This includes active support in areas such as:

  • Engagement with Knesset committees and government ministries
  • Development of industrial and employment zones
  • Implementation of strategic infrastructure and planning projects

The Federation’s Vice President for the Arab Sector maintains ongoing, direct contact with local leaders to assist in navigating challenges, facilitating intergovernmental coordination, and advancing initiatives that benefit the community.

Through this focused effort, the Federation helps ensure that Arab local authorities are fully integrated into national policy frameworks and positioned for sustainable growth.
